YELLOW FEVER. CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENT.
The Brazilian
Authorities request the presentation of an International
Certificate of Vaccination or Revaccination against Yellow
Fever from travelers who arrive in Brazil from countries
internationally known to be risk areas for yellow fever and from
passengers who might have been in one of these countries in the
three-month period before arriving in Brazil.
This Embassy
equaly reminds travelers that Brazil being one of the countries
listed by the World Health Organization (WHO) as having endemic
focuses of yellow fever, health authorities from other countries
may require the International Certificate of Vaccination or
Revaccination against Yellow Fever when the traveler comes from
Brazil to these countries. Vietnam is listed by WHO among the
countries who require certificates.

where the yellow fever is endemic, according to the WHO are:
AFRICA
Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central-African
Republic, Chad, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of
Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana,
Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenia, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger,
Nigeria, Rwanda, São Tomé e Príncipe, Senegal, Serra leoa,
Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda.
SOUTH AMERICA
Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guyana, Guyana,
Peru, Suriname, Venezuela.
CENTRAL AMERICA
Panama, Trinidad-Tobago
